Eric Hoyt is a labor economist whose research spans employee ownership, institutional economics, and economic history. Using confidential U.S. Census data, he examines how employee ownership affects productivity, employment stability, workplace diversity, earnings, and inequality. He has received the Louis O. Kelso Fellowship for his employee-ownership research. Hoyt earned his Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and his B.A. from the University of Wisconsin–Madison.
