Trevor Young-Hyman studies how formal and informal organizational structures affect business performance and worker welfare. His research focuses on decentralized organizations, multistakeholder governance, worker ownership, and purpose-driven firms. He earned his Ph.D. in Sociology from the University of Wisconsin–Madison and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the Wharton School. His work has appeared in Administrative Science Quarterly, Organization Science, and other leading journals.
